The City of Dunedin is looking for interested citizens to apply to be considered for appointment to the Board of Finance. This board acts without financial compensation as an advisory board to the City Commission and City Manager on all facets of the financial affairs of the City including but not limited to the investment policy of the City and its portfolio; review current and proposed indebtedness; the strategic long term fiscal needs of the City; major capital projects; annual operating budget and capital budgets; the audit report; the City management report; and to consider such matters as are requested by the City Commission or the City Manager. All members shall be residents of the City of Dunedin. The deadline requested to have applications in is February 28, 2013.
