The Dunedin Blue Jays are excited to launch an initiative aimed at recognizing those in our community that go above and beyond the call of duty.

Each month during the 2011 season, the Dunedin Blue Jays will be recognizing one “Everyday Hero” in our community, for a total of five throughout the season. 

There is no true definition of an Everyday Hero, and all entries will be considered. 

Entrants can submit themselves as a candidate, or someone that they believe deserves the credit for all of the hard work they put in on a daily basis.

The Blue Jays will begin by making a $500 donation to the charity of our hero’s choice. 

Our honorees will also receive…

• An Acer Laptop
• Two Season tickets to 2012 Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training
• 10 free tickets to the Dunedin Blue Jays game when they will be recognized
• 10 free tickets to another Dunedin Blue Jays game of their choice
• Additional prizes from participating local sponsors

Winners will be notified one week prior to the game night when they will be honored with the exception of April’s winner who will be announced on Thursday, April 21.
