Dunedin's Golden Beer Olympics Trophy Goes To...
The "Spring Chickens" took first place in the Rotary Waterside's Beer Olympics fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 2.
All of the money was donated back to the Rotary Waterside, 100 percent of which into community projects.
Spring Chickens team is comprised of Michael Mannino, Dylan Manning, Janette Donohue and Suzanne Henslee took home the golden beer trophy, representing the Dunedin Blue Jays' upcoming Spring Training season.

Seth, Ryan, Cole, Renni and everyone from the Waterside Rotary Club did a great job with this fundraiser! Of course after coming in 4th at the "Summer Olympics" we were determined to play hard to bring home the gold. I hope that all the great gifts the Rotarians collected for this event will go to good use by the refs who worked hard to make it a fun night for everyone. This is such a great Rotary club that we affectionately refer to as the fun club so if anyone is feeling a call to "service above self" join them any Wednesday evening I believe at 6:30 at Sea Sea Riders. You can verify on Facebook. Thanks again everyone and don't worry next year I think we'll volunteer :) That was a LOT of work to bring home the gold. Now we'll see you al at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin where the Spring Chickens will showcase the gold! Suzanne
