Now’s your chance to get involved in the largest event of its kind in the southeastern United States! The City of Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department has only a few more spaces for its 11th Annual Touch-a-Truck in Highlander Park for Saturday, April 28. The event, which sees over 14,000 in attendance annually, benefits the “Dunedin For Youth Scholarship Fund,” helping needy families in the community take part in recreational programming.

The event will feature well over 100 vehicles for kids of all ages to sit in, take pictures and play with. With free admission and $2 parking, it’s also a budget-friendly event. “This is one of our biggest fundraisers for the [Dunedin For Youth] Fund. We had a few spaces open up and we’re looking for businesses that want to help the community while getting some free marketing,” according to Mathew Eberius, the event’s coordinator.

Businesses wishing to take part should email meberius@dunedinfl.net for an application. Remaining spaces are first-come, first-served. The event is on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Dunedin’s Highlander Park, 1920 Pinehurst Road. For more information, please call the Parks & Recreation Department at 727-812-4530 or visit www.DunedinGov.com.
