Volunteers are Needed!

The City of Dunedin is looking for volunteers for our Halloween Happeningo help with carnival games, ticket takers, concessions, hayride, “Boo In The Zoo,” etc., which takes place Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Here are some of the areas where volunteers are needed:

“BOO IN THE ZOO”

The City of Dunedin is looking for 20 volunteers. “BOO IN THE ZOO” is a non-scary event for little ones 2 to 6 years old and is held from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at th Dunedin Community Center. Adults sit behind a decorated wall and a small window opens and out comes a puppet to give the child candy. When you see the faces of the little ones, you will be delighted that you volunteered for this event.

Shifts are from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and from 7:15 to 10 p.m. 

GAMES

The City of Dunedin is looking for 50 teen volunteers. There will be 25 games that will need two volunteers each to assist with the games and giving out prizes. The shift is from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Dress in costume and volunteer with your friends. This is a great way to get your service hours, too!

HAUNTED HAY RIDE

The City of Dunedin is looking for 75 volunteers. There will be 10 different scary Halloween scenes where staff is going to need help making it a scary success. The shift is from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Dress in costume or volunteer with your friends. This is a great way to get your service hours, too!
