5 Things to Know Today: Tuesday, May 29

On pizza, beer, music and this weekend.

1) Expect a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms today, according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, it should be partly sunny, with a high near 89 and gusty wind. Low tonight is 76.

2) The lowest reported gas price in Dunedin is $3.29 (cash, regular) at both the Super Shop, 1001 Broadway, and the Valero, 3000 Belcher Road, according to TampaGasPrices.com.

3) A little known fact: Bayshore Pizza will not only deliver delicious pizza to your doorstep, they'll also bring you beer, according to a recent Facebook status update!

4) Candidate for 6th Circuit Court Judge Brian Battaglia is coming to Dunedin Wednesday for a downtown tour from 9 to 10 a.m.

5) Something to look forward to for Friday: The city of Dunedin's Parks & Recreation department kicks off its Sunset Music Series at Weaver Park (7 to 9 p.m.). It's free every Friday in June! Just bring your lawn chairs or a blanket.
