5 Things to Know Today: Wednesday, Feb. 29

Beer + pizza = a glorious reason to read "five things."

1) Shorts and short sleeves again today. Expect patchy fog before 9 a.m., otherwise, it should be mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Tonight the temperature should drop to about 68, according to the National Weather Service.

2) Looking for the cheapest fill-up? The lowest reported gas price in Dunedin is $3.61 at Quick Nick's Citgo, 840 Broadway, and the Super Shop, 1001 Broadway, on TampaGasPrices.com.

3) Coming soon! A new pizza place joins the Dunedin ranks on March 4. Pronto Pizza celebrates its grand opening on Sunday. That's right, Sunday.

4) A local homebrew supply store recently opened in Brandon. All you Dunedin beer enthusiasts (ahem, Dunedin Brewers Guild), this is for you. Have you checked out Booths Brewing for homebrewing supplies?

5) Been thinking about researching you family tree? The Caladesi Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are offering free genealogy assistance tomorrow at the Dunedin Public Library, from 1 to 3 p.m.
