5 Things to Know Today: Wednesday, Feb. 8
What's going on tonight, how you can get your business to the top of Google searches and more.
1) What to wear? Dress for partly sunny skies and a high near 75, and expect some fog this early morning. Clouds will roll in tonight and the temperature should drop somewhere around 58, according to the National Weather Service.
2) Need to fill up on the cheap? The lowest reported gas price in Dunedin is $3.44 (cash, regular) at the Super Shop, 1001 Broadway, according to what's on TampaGasPrices.com.
3) If you're looking for something to do this evening, Michael Nichols performs a solo acoustic jam at the Dunedin House of Beer from 9 p.m. to midnight.
4) Are you a local business owner? Have you claimed your business listing on Patch? It's easy: Go to our business directory (labeled "Places" on our homepage). Search for your business by name, and click the words "Claim it" underneath the photo. You'll be asked for a few pieces of information so we can verify it's you, and then it's yours to manage. Ask your friends and patrons to review your business!
5) Deputies recently seized nearly 60 computers from a new Internet cafe on Main Street. Fifty-nine computers were taken from the Talk-N-Surf at 1075 Main Street to be searched for suspected internet gambling, according to the Tampa Bay Times. No arrests were made as of Jan. 27.
