5 Things We Hope You Didn't Miss

It was a busy week, here's a look at some of the week's biggest stories.

 

1) The GOP's presidental front-runner Mitt Romney came to little ol' Dunedin on Monday. All politics aside, we asked local business owners what they hope to see from Republicans (read more) and of course, we have everything you may have missed from Romney's speech to a crowd of roughly 1,000 people (read more).

2) One Dunedin woman in the crowd at the Mitt Romney rally was a new U.S. citizen who cast her first vote ever at age 65. We went with her to the primary polls and captured her first voting experience on video (watch more).

3) We also caught up with a Dunedin woman who started her own nutritional and dieting consulting business that focuses on buying local, organic food (read more).

4) It was a sad week for the Scottish piping world. Florida legend and teacher Sandy Keith passed away on Feb. 1, at age 74. His funeral mass is Saturday, Feb. 11. You can help us preserve his legacy here (read more).

5) A waitress at Casa Tina Gourmet Mexican and Vegetarian Cuisine won a $1 million scratch-off lottery ticket. She has no plans to stop waitressing (read more).
