Organizers expect more than 60 organizations to participate in a Senior Awareness Fair at the Hale Senior Activity Center on Friday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Seniors will be able to answer questions like where to get the best price on medicine, where to find exercise programs, or where to get a living will, according to an event flier.
The event is free and includes lunch.

This Senior Awareness Fair is a hit year after year. Vendors are not allowed to sell while at the fair, only provide information and schedule follow up appointments. This is a great way to take the pressure off those attending as they can determine if they want to make a further appointment or not, with us they can make the appointment immediately for the following week so it is also time effective.
I will be presenting all sorts of insurance and insurance related information - Critical Care (cancer, alzheimers, ALS, stroke, etal) coverage, Long Term Care coverage, Life Insurance coverage (including information on plans where part of the face value could be used for LTC or for Critical Illness), Dental coverage, Vision coverage ($36 ANNUAL individual and $84 ANNUAL family), Lifestyle plans that include roadside assistance, some legal, teledoc, and many other discounts, and more.
This would be a great opportunity for anyone, seniors, others and/or the other vendors to get insurance and insurance related information without having to sit through a sales presentation - as we all know some people are deathly afraid of salespeople!
