Adoptable Dog: Sadie's Stay Too Long at Animal Services

Sadie is a sweet pitbull mix who has been stuck without a family since November.

There's no real reason that Sadie doesn't have a home other than her breed. Sadie is a beautiful, well-behaved and loving pitbull mix who's been at the Pinellas County Animal Shelter since November of last year.

Sadie is a cuddlebug and loves to hang out by your side. She's a low-energy pup who just wants a warm and loving family to be a part of.

How to Adopt

Sadie is ready to go to her forever home. She is spayed and micro-chipped. The adoption fee is $40 and includes the first set of shots, a collar and leash, a bag of food and a toy for the dog.

We've attached an adoption form (PDF) to make it easy.

How to Help

If you can't adopt, but still want to help, Animal Servces always needs volunteers.

Contact Kelli Becraft at kbecraft@co.pinellas.fl.us for more information.

If you want to see Sadie, and other adorable adoptable animals, make sure to check out the Pinellas County Animal Shelter's adoption events at the shelter the first, second and third Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

On the fourth Saturday, the event is at the Largo Mall PetSmart from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

About this column: Patch has partnered with Pinellas County Animal Services to bring our readers Adoptables at Risk, a weekly column that highlights dogs and cats that have overstayed at the county shelter and are in immediate need of a forever home. The shelter has limited space and must get pets adopted in a timely manner to free up kennels. Related Topics: Pets & animals, Pinellas County Animal Shelter, and adoptable dog
