I'd like to nominate Umberto's of Long Island Italian Restaurant on Patricia Avenue. It's like a little taste of NYC pizza right here in Dunedin!!! Mangaria!!!

I'd like to nominate Julian's Little Italy on Patricia! Fabulous food, great people, open seven days. It's the best hidden gem in Dunedin. They froze 5 qts. of chicken cacciatore for me so that I could serve dinner at a party for family & friends in NH within 3 hours of landing in Manchester. It was fabulous. Our group had ababy, a 6yr old and a dog so going to a restaurant was out but Julian's made it so easy for me to serve right at our hotel suite.

All great pizza places. But for great Italian, I just found a new place that was great BASCETTIS@ 1568 main st. Really worth a try. The bread alone is worth the visit!

umberto's of long island HAS to win this - wonderful food, nice family and great service..as soon as we walk in, it feels like we're at home in our neighborhood family restaurant - and their thin-crust pizza can't be beat!

Umbertos has the best pizza by far and the food is great. Authentic Italian setting and the owners are great guys.

Even though Bascettis has only been open a short time, owner Jimmy Stewart has created a beautiful space and truly inspired Italian food. Everyone should give it a try. I'm not detracting anything from the other great nominees, however, Bascettis is a real gem.

Umberto's of Long Island has the best Chicken Marsala I've had in FL. the owners are very nice and warm people. Go there if you want great food that tastes great!
