A four-month old little boy abused, beaten over a two-week period by Dunedin couple, alleges the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
A four-month old boy suffered fractured ribs and legs over a two-week long series of beatings by Dunedin couple, claim the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Silverio Avila, 20, and Kayla Lockwood, 19, both of the 600 block of Union St. in Dunedin, were arrested by detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office "Crimes Against Children" unit and charged with three counts total of aggravated child abuse.
Detectives claim the little boy received fractures to both his rib cage and legs due to the alleged abuse. Following questioning, both Avila and Lockwood confessed to the treatment of the child, brought on they said by the boy's crying.
Avila is charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse and Lockwood one count.
The child is now under the care of family members who live outside of Pinellas County.

As sad and as horrible as this sounds and as much as we want to think of these parents as monsters, we must remember that if you do not believe in abortion you need to support young parents who have babies. Anyone who has been alone with a crying baby for hours and hours can understand that you may go insane. I hope everyone who read this story volunteers to babysit for a family with young children.
