Dunedin Blogger Tapped for Emeril Lagasse Cookbook Promo
Isabel Laessig is participating in a cookalong project called the “Serious Sandwich Cook Along," which promotes celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse's latest release, "Emeril's Kicked-Up Sandwiches," on sale Wednesday.
A major cookbook publisher chose a Dunedin woman to be part of project promoting celebrity chef and restaurateur Emeril Lagasse's latest book.
William Morrow Cookbooks tapped local blogger Isabel Laessig, along with 21 other food bloggers, to participate in its “Serious Sandwich Cook Along.” The project promotes Lagasse's latest cookbook "Emeril's Kicked-Up Sandwiches," which goes on sale Wednesday, Oct. 16 for $24.99.
The bloggers each received an advance copy of Lagasse's cookbook so they could prepare two of his sandwiches a week and blog about them.
Laessig writes "Family Foodie," an independent blog that has also appeared on Dunedin Patch. She is a strong proponent for eating Sunday dinner with the entire family, uses personal anecdotes in her blogs and shares quick, easy-to-make recipes for on-the-go families.
William Morrow Cookbooks is featuring the cook-along on its blog, The Secret Ingredient, and on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

What an honor, Isabel! And I might just have to drop by your house when I "just happen to be in the neighborhood" each day you're preparing those Emeril sandwiches! I'll probably just follow the aroma. Congrats on once again, putting Dunedin on the map!
