Dunedin High Student a Finalist For Prestigious Scholarship
Aubrey B. Wetzelberg is in the running for one of about 800 awards worth more than $2.5 million.
A Dunedin High student has been named a National Achievement Scholarship semifinalist, according to Pinellas County Schools.
Aubrey B. Wetzelberg was among 1,600 semifinalists announced Wednesday and will now have a chance to compete for about 800 awards worth more than $2.5 million that will be offered next spring.
"The National Achievement Scholarship Program is an academic competition established in 1964 to provide recognition for outstanding black high school students," the district said on its website.
