BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER winner Joann Roman poses with her family after claiming her $1 million Scratch-Off prize.

A Florida Lottery scratch-off game paid off for another Dunedin woman this week.

Joann Roman, 43, bought a $20 scratch-off Billion Dollar Blockbuster game at Blue Jay Grocery & Deli on San Christopher Drive. She told the Florida Lottery that she cried when she saw her winning ticket.

Roman picked up her winnings at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee this week, according to a Florida Lottery news release.

She told lottery officials that the winnings would go toward her family’s dream of homeownership.

Florida Lottery reports that she chose a one-time, lump-sum payout of $650,000.

She is the 44th person to claim a $1 million prize in the scratch-off game, according to Florida Lottery. Seventy-six $1-million prizes remain.

In February, a waitress at Casa Tina Gourmet Mexican won $1 million in a Monopoly scratch-off.
