Foster Homes Needed for Rescued Dogs
The Suncoast Animal League took in almost 30 dogs Thursday that were in danger of being put down at shelters in Pasco and Hillsborough counties.
The Suncoast Animal League is looking for foster homes for several dogs that were rescued Thursday. Almost 30 dogs were in danger of being put down at shelters in Pasco and Hillsborough counties, so the Suncoast Animal League, which is a no-kill shelter, offered to house them.
The dogs received the royal treatment when they arrived at the shelter Thursday. Volunteers from Nielsen Co., now in Oldsmar, were on-hand to give them baths and lots of attention. The dogs will also be spayed or neutered and they'll receive immunizations before they head off to foster homes.
If you are interested in fostering one of the dogs, call the Suncoast Animal League at 727-786-1330. The league also accepts monetary donations. The Suncoast Animal League is located at 1030 Pennsylvania Ave. in Palm Harbor.

Would love to take one, however, on my way up north next week until the fall. When returning I will keep you folks in mind. What a wonderful job you are doing. I may even contact you to volunteer. Keep up the great work for our four legged friends.
