Funedin Group Releases Lip Dub
The video cut to R.E.M.'s "Shiny, Happy People" sees cameos from hundreds in Dunedin.
The Funedin lip dub creators released its music video late Monday, and practically went viral on Dunedin resident's Facebook pages Tuesday.
The video had nearly 5,000 views on YouTube as of early Wednesday.
Hundreds of Dunedin residents turned out Jan. 29 on Main Street for the filming of R.E.M.'s "Shiny, Happy People" — Dunedin-style.
The filming, directed by Raul Sanchez and produced by Kathy Carlson, drew hundreds, many receiving a cameo appearance. The song is 4 minutes and 10 seconds, but the YouTube video rolls on with credits for more than 8 minutes and was dedicated to the memory of Monica Adams, Autumn Soyka and Nancy McIntyre.

Loved seeing Dunedin Doggie Rescue in the very beginning, with mom and pop, (Kathy & K.K.) on each side of the cowboy. The continuing craziness of the assorted costumes was impressive and shows the Spirit of our enthusiastic town! Let's plan for the 2nd annual lip-dub! CandaceLue (I was the short one)

This is super fun! I showed my brother, who does not live in Florida, and he was impressed, and then asked, "How did they get so many people to come out?" I told him, that's just Dunedin!

The guy on the big bike was so handsome! Oh, wait...that was my husband! No wonder that bike looked familiar; it lives in my dining room!! Thanks, Kathy, for putting both Garry and the bike to such good use!! ;)
