If you use Gmail, checking to find out right now could be a problem.

Google’s Gmail service is unresponsive and won’t let users access their accounts. The outages have been intermittent and seem to affect the Tampa Bay area and beyond.

“Right now your mother is trying in vain to email you about Gmail being down,” the Comedy Central network tweeted a short while ago.

Word on what is causing the problem isn’t readily available. 

As Google works through the problems, the Dunedin Patch email accounts are also suffering intermittent outages. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
