Main Street Hair closed its doors at the end of January.

The bright orange and green corner building that borders the Pinellas Trail and Main Street in downtown Dunedin has been a hair salon for about 22 years, the past two as Main Street Hair.

It was formerly Gregory's Salon for 20 years.

What type of business would you like to see come to downtown Dunedin? Tell us in the comments!

We have a great selection of restaurants in Dunedin so hope competition does not get too overwhelming. I hope not a restaurant!

I'd like to see a smoothie factory, with all the activity on the trail an ice cold smoothie would do the trick...

I agree, an ice cream/frozen yogurt establishment to compete with Strachans.

I would like to see LOTHIAN KILT RENTAL & BAGPIPE SUPPLIES move in there. Just think as to the spirit that such a move would bring to Main Street & contribute to the CELTIC SHOP's sales with home accents, apparel, & souvenirs.

Restaurants are good Retail is good they both bring people to our beautiful downtown. NO MORE real estate offices. If they take over the town with this type of business who will be visiting then?? They take up precious parking for people wanting to eat and shop. I think all stores on main and broadway should be food, drink or retail. Its what keep our dunedin ...delightful !!!!! Not stores that closed at 5 pm and are dark.

We need specialty retail or grocery...no more restaurants on Main. We do need a Thai restaurant, but off Main...maybe on Scotland at the Tea Room.

My wife wants to see another salon. I like the idea of a market like Trader Joe, Dean and Deluca. A real wine Bar with just wine beer and bar food. Starbucks would be good yoo
