The 19th Annual "Ride & Run With The Stars" is a holiday fundraiser benefitting the Pinellas County Sheriff's Christmas Sharing Project which provides food, clothing and toys to disadvantaged children, crime victims and families in need.

"Ride & Run With The Stars" is set for Saturday, Dec. 1, at Fort DeSoto Park. Events start at 8 a.m., and registration will be open at 7 a.m.

There are cycling, running and walking events, as well as a silent auction, a climbing wall, Sheriff's Office displays, food, Christmas crafts for the kids, giveaways and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus who arrive at the Fort by the Sheriff's helicopter.

Participants also have a chance to win high quality bicycles and sports equipment. 

Registration is $25. Registered participants receive a long-sleeve logo shirt, food, and giveaways. Kids accompanied by registered adults are free!
