A rainy day.

Today, our area could see some strong storms. Later Saturday night and into Sunday, the storms could become more severe, according to the National Weather Service.  The chance of rain today is 90 percent.

Since it's the weekend, this weather could impact some events happening around town. If we hear about a cancelation, we'll post it quickly.

So far, we know:

  • The Dunedin Green Market canceled last night because of the threat of impending storms, but decided to reopen for business this morning.
  • The Dunedin Highland Games are moving forward as scheduled and are continuing to monitor weather conditions.

If you hear about any cancelations, let your neighbors know in the comments below.

As the weather moves in, we all love to grab our phones and shoot photos and video. Be sure to upload what you capture here on Patch so your neighbors can check it out.
