Walt's Seasonal Cuisine Closes

Owner Walt Wickman to focus on new fish market and cafe at downtown marina.

Walt’s Seasonal Cuisine closed its doors Saturday, according to a St. Petersburg Times report by Tom Scherberger.

Owner Walt Wickman’s restaurant was open for five years. He recently opened Olde Bay Cafe & Dunedin Fish Market at the Municipal Marina, in the same location where his family ran a fish market for 25 years. He put Walt’s on the market about three months ago, and now that it's sold, he said he intends to focus his attention on the new business, the report states.

A couple from Boston, Steve and Patty Tingas, will open at Wickman's former location, 1140 Main St., as a Greek-inspired restaurant called Bistro Atlantis on July 5, the report states.

Have you been to Walt Wickman's new restaurant? Tell us in the comments.

Walt's Olde Bay Cafe is quintessential Dunedin: friendly folks, spectacular views, interesting menu, and sure-to-please food and drink.
