What's Going On This Weekend

Lots of family-centric events going on in Dunedin this weekend. Here are a few of the highlights.

 

Saturday

(March 31)

Spring Flea Market & Classic Car Show, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; A day of shopping for crafts, collectibles and furniture, and a classic car show that benefits the Dunedin For Youth Scholarship Fund; free to attend; Highlander Park.

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; Crafts and snacks for family and young children; Bring flashlight and Easter basket; $8 for residents with Parks & Rec ID, $12 for non-residents; Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center.

"Fairies Inc." Cirque Style Show7 p.m.; Young acrobats and aerialists act out a take of a fairy that misplaces a magical star in this Dance & Circus Arts of Tampa Bay production; benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation; tickets start at $30; all ages; Conmy Center at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

Concert for Clothes to Kids, 7 to 9 p.m.; A contemporary band performs, children's crafts and games; Bring a package of new children's socks to be donated to Clothes To Kids; Free to attend; Pioneer Park.

Dunedin Showcase Theater, 7:30 p.m.; The theater group performs "Alone Together, Again," the story of a married couple that ends up with both sets of parents moving in after their adult children finally move out; $10, Dunedin Community Center.

 

Sunday

(April 1)

Suds on Sunday Dog Wash, noon to 4:30 p.m.; Dunedin Doggie Rescue volunteers will give your pup a scrub starting at $7 to $13 (depending on the size); Pinehurst Pub.

Last Spring Training Game: Blue Jays vs. Pirates, 1:05 p.m.; Tickets start at $15; Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.

Dunedin Showcase Theater, 2 p.m.; The theater group performs "Alone Together, Again," the story of a married couple that ends up with both sets of parents moving in after their adult children finally move out; $10, Dunedin Community Center.
