Stolen Credit Card Used for Months-Long Stay at Dunedin Motel, Deputies Say
Tina Marie Beavers is accused of using someone else's credit card to pay for several months rent at the Palm Court Motel on Bayshore Boulevard in Dunedin, according to authorities.
A woman staying at a motel in Dunedin is accused of using a stolen credit card to pay for several months rent, according to authorities.
Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tina Marie Beavers, 46, on Tuesday, Jan. 22, and charged her with a felony count of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Arrest records indicate that Beavers had been staying in room 102 at the Palm Court Motel on Bayshore Boulevard for several months. During that time, she allegedly made multiple payments on a Wachovia Visa card belonging to another woman.
Beavers is alleged to have paid for at least $1,852 in motel goods and services using the card. She also used checks from the woman's Wachovia account to make payments, arrest records say.
Beavers is in custody and awaiting trial at Pinellas County Jail on $2,000 bond.
