'Tis the season for snipe signs by our "public servants" who seem to think they are entitled to deface Public rights-of-way by having their "supporters" emabrk on stealth campaigns to promote their candidacy. Here's an email I sent to Rep. Peter Nehr:

I am not a constituent and am just shocked and stunned that your campaign has put up scores, if not hundreds of snipe signs on public right-of-way, with the gall to staple them to phone and light poles. That is an abuse of the public trust and no doubt us taxpayers will have to pay to have them removed; regardless just because you are a politician, you have no right to use public property to spread word of your campaign. Shame on you. I thought Republicans were "conservative," with the root meaning to conserve; putting up hundreds of plastic signs that will be tossed about, end up in the streets and distracting drivers with illegal signs is about the least conservative action I can imagine. I drive along State Road 580 every day and am forced to see your signs in my district advertising you.

I respectfully request that you remove every sign of your not located on private property with the consent of the property owner.
