More About Honeymoon Island State Park
More than 900,000 guests visit Honeymoon State Park every year, according to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The 2,810-acre park, home to ospreys and great horned owls, is a beautiful barrier island inhabited by shorebirds. Visitors can swim, fish or study nature. Two nature trails traverse pine and mangrove forests, and pets are allowed in designated areas. The Cafe Honeymoon, right on the beach, offers stunning views of the water off the barrier island's shore and is a great location for events.

I took this walk last year on New Year's Day. What a treat it is! And Tim is a wonderful guide.
