See Lucid Druid in one of their rare performances at the Dunedin House of BeerTM(HOBTM). The Celtic-World Fusion Jam band that plays in Dunedin only a few times a year will be at the HOBTM on the evening of December 15th at 7:30pm. There's no cover charge!
The multi-faceted sounds of Lucid Druid can best be described as "Eclectic Celtic-Fusion", integrating bagpipes, guitar and double bass with a variety of traditional African and Scottish drums, creating a sound that is energetic, ground breaking and truly unique. Unusual arrangements and exploratory jams make this music truly un-comparable to anything else being produced today in the genre of Celtic Fusion music.
Lucid Druid is Adam Quinn -bagpipes, clarinet, shuttle pipes, piano, didgeridoo, Sebastian Deledda- guitars, Joe Porter -upright bass, electric bass, Steven Turner - djembes, ashikos, talking-drum, didgeridoo, Doug White - drum set, Scottish snare, roto-tams.
