If you enjoy browsing shelves of novels or leafing through a picture book as you sit in a garden, the Dunedin Public Library is worth checking out.
The city library contains a large collection of books, cds and DVDS within its walls, and it hosts two gardens outside its doors, a reading garden and a butterfly garden. It also offers internet access, rooms for public events and several courses and entertainment programs for adults, teenagers and children.
The library served 376,705 visitors and lent out 600,951 items in 2009.

I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Also today at the library: Free SHINE Medicare Seminar on Medicare Advantage Plans, 2PM. No reservation needed. The Medicare 101 Seminar was very helpful, and the SHINE counselor answered questions from individuals afterwards. Two more seminars are scheduled--10/12 and 11/2. Different topics.
