More About Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center
Whether they want to shred on their skateboards or surf the Internet, youths will find opportunities to amuse or enrich themselves at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center.
It has a 10,000-sq. foot skate park, computer room, teenager room, playground, basketball court, gym and rooms that can be rented for events. The center, run by the city, also offers classes in athletic disciplines, such as Tae Kwon Do and wrestling, and holds events and field trips. Programs for adults are also available.
