Today In Dunedin: Fall Ball Registration, Windlasses and Free SAT Prep

Today in Dunedin you can sign your child up for fall baseball or softball, SAT prep courses or join a sailing club.

LOVE TO SAIL?: Are you a lady who likes to sail? The Dunedin Windlasses competitive sailing club is holding an informational membership coffee this Thursday, Aug. 22, for those interested in joining. Why not go see what it's all about?

LAST CALL FOR DUNEDIN LITTLE LEAGUE FALL BALL: Greater Dunedin Little League is holding two more nights of in-person registration this Wednesday, Aug. 21 and Thursday, Aug. 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Dunedin Community Center. Fall baseball and softball league fees range from $75 to $85 depending on your child's age.

NEVER TOO EARLY FOR SAT PREP: Private tutor Amy Lucas guides students through prep course DVDs weekly on Saturdays at Dunedin Public Library in free two-hour sessions leading up to the Oct. 5 exam. This Saturday, Aug. 24, Lucas covers the following math section topics: manipulating algebraic equations, solving faster by translating English into math, simultaneous equations, absolute value and group problems, exponents, roots, quadratics and factoring. For more information, contact the Library Youth Services desk at 727-298-3080, Ext. 1732.
