Back To School Bash Offers Many Solutions for Families

As our families' thoughts turn to getting ready for the new school year, Back to School Bash events are everywhere.

They help parents prepare themselves and their kids for the upcoming excitement of new people, schedules and activities, new clothing and foods. It can be a bit overwhelming.

Parents in Pinellas County, many for the first time,  spend millions of dollars on school supplies this month, especially on sales-tax exempt items.

And of course: How do you teach your little ones how to stay safe, how to get along with others, and how to avoid bullies and drugs.

To help give real answers and practical advice a group of experienced parents called Families for a Better Community will have a booth at the Highland Pool Back to School Bash in Dunedin on Friday, August 16th, from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm.
