Adoptable Cats at SPC Vet Tech School Need Homes

The SPC Veterinary Technology School has 14 cats who need a home. Can you adopt one?

If you ever though you might want a cat, the SPC Veterinary Technology School has you covered.

Right now, the Vet. Tech. School has 14 adorable cats who really could use homes. All the cats have training and unique personalities that make them lots of fun. A few even now how to do some amazing tricks!

How to Adopt

All the cats are ready to go to their forever home. The adoption fee is $40 and includes the first set of shots, spaying or neutering, a collar and leash, a bag of food, micro-chipping, one month of heartworm and flea prevention. All you have to do is give a feline a good home.

Adopt a cat, and we will feature your photo with your new pet on Patch, too!

The SPC Vet Tech School is located at 12376 Ulmerton Road in Largo. The staff requests that visitors come by to see Callie between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

What Is the SPC Vet Tech School?

The tech school is part of St. Pete College and is conveniently located next door to Pinellas County Animal Services. The school works with some animals from Pinellas County Animal Services to help socialize and ready them for permanenet adoption in a forever home. Lovable Callie is an example.

"SPC’s new $11 million, Veterinary Technology facility boasts more than 32,000 square feet of state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, surgery and X-ray suites, kennels and offices. Located next door to Pinellas County Animal Services on Ulmerton Road, the convenient location will make it easy for SPC students to get valuable work experience and for county services to get a volunteer boost."
