What’s better than a night of bar hopping?
Having more than 70 of the finest brews gathered in one spot with taps (and bottles) wide open, that’s what. And that is exactly what you’ll find at BeerFest 2011, hosted by the at on Sept. 17 (5 to 9 p.m.).
BeerFest 2011 promises something for everyone — even kids and well-behaved leashed dogs. It features bouncy houses, food and wine vendors, live music by The Black Honkeys and the King of Cigars. Last year’s event drew a crowd of 500, and publicity coordinator Dawn Carney said she expects another impressive turnout. Proceeds support the Dunedin Doggie Rescue and the Dunedin Brewers Guild.
Tickets for BeerFest 2011 are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate for drinkers age 21 and older. Non-drinker tickets are $5 and entry for children under age 18 is free. Advance tickets are available at the and the Palm Harbor House of Beer.
