Channel 10 Block Party at the Boxcar— Will YOU Be There?

Dunedin all set to rise early Wednesday for live program to feature the city.

The big question around town is "Are you going to be at the thing on Wednesday morning?"

Reporter Grayson Kamm from 10 News This Morning! will be in town bright and early Wednesday, April 6, and he's invited all of Dunedin.

“We'll have a block party atmosphere going — like the ‘Today Show’ or college game day,” Kamm wrote in an email to the city.

Kamm, anchor Keith Jones and meteorologist Bobby Deskins film their live morning program, "Why Do They Call It That?" from 5 to 7 a.m. at the iconic across from the on Pinellas Trail, surrounded by all of the folks who make Dunedin so darn special.

The news team has invited business owners, first responders, artists to include Anna Hamilton (of Dogedin mural fame), representatives from the Dunedin Blue Jays to include mascot D-Jay, Dunedin High School’s Scottish Highlander band and Dunedin Doggie Rescue.

“It is a great way to rally and show off the City’s spirit," Dunedin Public Information and Communication Manager Courtney King said.

All citizens are invited, though, not every one is guaranteed to make it on camera, and the more outgoing and visually interesting, the better, Kamm explained.
