Children’s Gasparilla Extravaganza 101: Downtown Parking and Shuttle Service

Going to the Children's Gasparilla Extravaganza this Saturday? Park in downtown and then take a shuttle to the event.

Parking in the neighborhoods bordering the Children’s Gasparilla Extravaganza Parade route is not permitted and the city will ticket and tow cars parked in “No Parking” areas on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Park in downtown and then take a shuttle to the event, instead.

Throughout downtown parking is available in various garages and lots that have a one-time special event parking rate paid upon entry. Click here to view a map of parking garages and lots in downtown.

The shuttle will pick up folks at the Fort Brooke Garage, 107 N. Franklin St., at the corner of Franklin Street and Whiting Street in downtown.

The shuttle will drop off parade-goers to Bayshore Boulevard, near the beginning of the parade route at W. Bay to Bay Boulevard and the Crosstown.

The shuttle will operate continuously from downtown to Bay to Bay using the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway for a fast shuttle service to and from the event avoiding traffic congestion.
