Here are Five Things to Know Today for Dunedin residents as we have made it to the weekend.

Hey,we made it to the weekend! Here are Five Things to Know Today for Saturday, Oct. 15:

1) Weather: It will be a comfortable day albeit cloudy. Per the National Weather Service, the day will be about 70 degrees this morning and will gradually rise to 84 with a breeze in the low teens. The low tonight is expected to be 70.

2 Cheap gas: Per GasBuddy.com, the cheapest gas in Dunedin as of Friday was the Super Shop at the intersection of 1001 Broadway & Skinner Blvd. A gallon of gas there is $3.24.

3 Oktoberfest: Dunedin may not be Munich but that won't stop you from enjoying the annual German celebration. At the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 750 San Salvador Dr., the sounds of polka and the tastes of brats and other sausages can be found at this family fest which includes ride for the kids, a flea market for mom and of course, some German beer for dad. Fun starts at 11 a.m.

4 Classic car show: Downtown Main Street will be a car-lover's paradise as dozens of local dealers will display classic rides. The cars begin filling up Main Street early this morning.

5 Make a rain barrel: On Honeymoon Island State Park, the Rotary Centennial Nature Center will make rain barrels which is great green way to collect water and use in your garden or on your lawn. This craft begins at 1 p.m.
