Five Things to Know Today: Wednesday, Sept. 7

Here are Five Things to Know Today for Dunedin residents on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. It's already Hump Day!

Here are Five Things To Know for Dunedin residents as we have already reached Hump Day for the week. How cool is that?

1. Today's weather?: Per AccuWeather.com, better grab an umbrella before heading out to work. Thunderstorms will be drenching Dunedin as you get ready for work but may let up just as you head out the door. Temperature will be in the upper 70s. By the time you get to work the rains should have subsided, albeit temporarily. The thunderstorms will be on and off all day today. The rains will keep it slightly cooler as the high temperature will max out at 86 at noon.

2. Need to fill up on the cheap?: Dunedin residents looking to fill up can find less expansive gas at two locations tied for the cheapest gas in the city. Both Dodge's Store at 466 Patricia Ave. and St. George Gas Service at 2000 Bayshore Blvd. have regular unleaded gas at $3.49 a gallon as of Tuesday night.
