Five Things You Should Know Today

It's Wednesday. Here's what you need to get through the hump.

  1. Better do your laundry tonight. Make sure you have something green to wear tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day!
  2. Irish author Ann O'Farrell discusses her novel, "Norah's Children," today at the starting at 2 p.m. Pretty interesting storyline of children abandoned by their father after their mother's untimely death. Refreshments will be served.
  3. Also, we all know about Flanagan's Irish Pub's big party on Main Street, but Patch found other options, too. Log in Thursday to see our Patch Picks for Patty's Day.
  4. Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind, according to the National Weather Service. Bring your sunglasses. Might also be a good day to run or walk the Causeway.
  5. See seven Dunedin homes on the Dunedin Historical Society's biennial Tour of Historic Homes (some are on the national register) on Saturday, March 19. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at the Dunedin Historical Museum, the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, the Dunedin Public Library and the Enchanted Branch Gift Gallery.
