Grab & Go Kids Planner: Family Picks for May 19 through 22

Check out the things to do in Dunedin with the family this week!

Juggling your responsibilities and entertaining the kids is no easy task. Dunedin Patch is coming to the rescue, with the top family-friendly activities in the area.

Here’s a list of this week’s events you can pick and choose from.

  • Why Go? Create an opportunity to teach your children about art and benefit Dunedin Doggie Rescue at the same time!
  • Pricing: FREE

  • Where/When: , 550 Laura Lane, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Why Go? Adults and children 8 and up are welcome to participate.
    Students will learn self defense techniques, tone muscles, build strength and endurance.
  • Pricing: Members $35/Non-members $52 monthly

  • Where/When: St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa. Sunday, May 22, at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Why Go? Parents and kids alike will enjoy this Disney On Ice feature! Join Woody and friends as they prepare for their uncertain future as their owner, Andy prepares to leave for college.
  • Pricing: starting at $16


  • Where/When: , 223 Douglas Ave., Wednesday mornings at 11 a.m.
  • Why Go? Parents can bring their children, 18 to 36 months, each week for story-time, songs, and a variety of toddler-friendly activity and interaction with other same-aged children.
  • Pricing: FREE

  • Where/When: 1600 16th St., Palm Harbor. Every Monday and Wednesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Why Go? Youth ages 8 to 14 can come to the YMCA for a night of video games on the Nintendo Wii. This event is great for both healthy competition and socialization for your teens.
