All the Halloween Fun For Dunedin Kids, Adults and Dogs

Friday (Oct. 28)

• Trunk or Treat: Safe trick or treating environment in the church parking lot one block from Main Street; concessions available; , 421 Main St; 5 to 8 p.m.; free.
• Trunk or Treat: Treats handed out in the church parking lot on Albert Street; bounce house, free hot dogs and a pumpkin carving contest; ; 5 to 8 p.m.; free.
• Trunk or Treat: Flashlight candy hunt, pumpkin patch, professional photographer will be in the patch offering a free digital photograph with the purchase of a pumpkin. Concessions available; , 705 Michigan Blvd.; 7 p.m.; free.
• Trick or Treating: Children’s trick-or-treating in the downtown businesses; 5 to 8 p.m.; free.

• : Honeymoon Island's 14th annual safe alternative to trick or treating, includes face painting, children’s games, storytelling, fortune telling and a "haunted" trail. Bring a flashlight and bug spray; ; 6 to 10 p.m.; $10 donation per car. Includes 10 free game tickets.

• : Fun for families, carnival games, crafts, storytelling, inflatables, concessions, costume contest for all ages, a Haunted Hayride at dusk, a "Boo in the Zoo" trick-or-treat house for preschoolers, a haunted house, and costume contests; ; 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.; $10 wristband grants access all carnival games, crafts, inflatables, costume contests, and "Boo in the Zoo," Haunted House and Haunted Hayride are $5 each. • Chic-a-Boo 10! Costume Contest at , register no later than 8:45 p.m.; contest starts at 9 p.m. Cash prizes start at $650. Given for first, second, third, most original and emcee's favorite.
• Costume Contest at , live music with Aquaphonics and variations of the Brewery's Big Bam Boo on tap. Big Bam Boo is a pumpkin and honey pale ale. Variations include: toasted pumpkin seeds, coffee, and Calypso dry-hops.

Thursday (Oct. 27)

• Fluffy Puppies Barkoween and Costume Contest: This fifth annual doggie costume contest awards the best. Cost is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. • Halloween Beer and Wine Tasting: 19 styles of beers, 19 premium wines, food from Ozona Pizza and Bayshore Breeze; music from Jayne Kelli; silent auction of pet-themed art, a raffle for 20 special big bottle beers and glassware, wines, doggie-related items and gift certificates; adoptable dogs on hand; $25 for wine tasting (includes souvenir glass), $40 for beer tasting; Historic Sand Dollar Motel, 348 Bay St., Ozona; 2 to 5 p.m.
