What's Happening in Dunedin Today

It's Saturday, and that means it's time to play. From golf cart tours to organ concerts, take your pick from these fun holiday-related events happening in Dunedin today!

Annual "A Christmas Fantasy" Orchestral Organ Concert 

  • When: Friday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.
  • Where: Kirk of Dunedin Christian Church
  • Why Go? "For 45-years, this concert has been a seasonal experience of a lifetime, proving wildly popular with those attending," organizers say. Terry Charles performs on one of the largest orchestral pipe organs in the world. Tickets are $15, all seats are reserved. Call the ticket office at 727-733-5475.  

For Kids: A Wishful Winter's Night 

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 15; 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Where:Pioneer Park
  • Why Go? This free event, put on by Kids Wish Network, features onstage entertainment, pictures with Santa and vendors with food and drinks. 

Dunedin Golf Cart Jingle Tour

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 15, 7 to 10 p.m.
  • Where: Begins at Rosie's Tavern
  • Why Go? This informal family event is free to join and requires no prior registration. Just show up with your cart charged and your enthusiasm to take in the local resident's light displays and meet other cart enthusiasts, its organizer says.

Live Concert: Bellarive 

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 
  • Where: In the Friendship Hall at First United Methodist Church of Dunedin
  • Why Go? For the "admission price" of just a canned food item, you can see popular contemporary Christian music group Bellarive perform on its Not So Silent Christmas Tour. Bellarive is bringing special guests Ethan Parker Band and Benjamin Rupe to celebrate the group's first full-length studio album "The Heartbeat," which rose to became an iTunes chart topper over the summer. Two of the group's members, Mike and Melissa Mage, are from Palm Harbor.
