What To Do With Your Kids During Spring Break

Dunedin Parks & Rec has a camp to keep your kids busy while you're at work.

School's out! Well, almost ... and just for a week. However, some of us have to work. 

If you were wondering what to do with the kids when Pinellas County Schools close for spring break from March 28 through April 1, we found a few options:

  • Spring Break Adventure Camp at the offers structured activities such as indoor games and activities, arts and crafts and outdoor activities such as kickball, soccer, archery and trailblazing at . Children must be enrolled in Kindergarten up to 12 years old. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Price is $120 or $80 with a Recreation ID card (for the week). You can also drop off your kids early (7:30 to 9 a.m.) or pick them up later, between 5 and 6. p.m for an extra fee of $20. 
  • The is opening at special hours the whole week of spring break. Teens 17 and under can drop in from noon to 8 p.m. for all the regular activities, including basketball, pool, X-box, etc. Price is $1 (with or without a Rec card). The spring break fee is $7 or $4 with a Rec ID card.
  • a paint-your-own-pottery shop in downtown Dunedin, will be open on Monday (in addition to its regular hours) during spring break and will also offer buy-one-get-one studio fee specials throughout the week. Restrictions may apply. Call ahead for details.
