A Song For Life Music Festival: Benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

THE ISLAND OUTPOST RESTAURANT to host "A Song for Life" two-day concert and fundraising event to benefit THE LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY. Many musical acts spanning several genres will be performing beginning at noon on both days.  

This family-friendly event will have multiple raffles for many prizes large and small featuring donations made by local businesses and residents. Children's activities including bouncy castles, face painting, and balloon animals will also begin at noon. The cost to enter will be $5 and will include a ticket redeemable for a drink for adults or a wristband for unlimited bouncing for children. Parking is free.

Musical acts on Saturday include Stones (a tribute band), Groupers, Blinky Fritz Band, Single Malt Brothers, and Slickside featuring Joe Lala of Crosby, Still, Nash, and Young.

Musical acts on Sunday include Slickside with David Muse of Firefall and Marshall Tucker Band, Gypsy Wind, Soupbone of Greg Billings Band and Stormbringer.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.Thousands of local residents are expected to attend.
