Dunedin Fine Art Center Summer Camps

The Dunedin Fine Art Center offers half-day and full-day camps for ages 4 ½ through 14 from June 11 through Aug. 17. Camps cover visual and performing arts, with different themes each week.

The first week must be paid in full two weeks in advance. Additional weeks may be reserved with a nonrefundable deposit of $50 per week.

Discounts provided for additional siblings or multiple weeks. Before- and after-care available for an additional fee. Lunch can be ordered for $6 per day or $24 per week.

Youths ages 15 and older can apply to volunteer as camp assistants.

  • Mini Masters (ages 4.5 to 5; 9am to 11:30am only and full-day available): Explore art through clay, sketches, museum time, story time, a gallery visit, and playtime.
  • Sizzlin’ Summer Visual Arts (ages 6 to 10): Learn art history, multicultural appreciation, and techniques in drawing, painting, 3D art, hands-on museum time and clay modeling.
  • Mural Madness (ages 8 to 12): Students will brainstorm, work on sketches and scaled drawings, then enlarge and produce their murals, which will be on display.
  • DFAC On Stage (ages 8 to 14): Through creative games and exercises, students will work together to produce an original piece complete with songs and dancing.
  • Art Squad (ages 11 to 14): A more advanced program featuring lessons in photography, Photoshop, throwing clay on the wheel, drawing, painting, and mixed-media artwork.
