What keeps you going?

"It all depends. I go through phases where a couple stagnant weeks are followed by excessive productivity. It's meditative, expressive, and I enjoy it. The creation of one piece will usually spark my inspiration to begin another."

What or who is your biggest inspiration?

"I don't think any one particular person or thing takes the number one slot, but I can name a couple of art figureheads: Giorgio de Chirico, Francisco de Goya, and Robert Rivers. I much admire the philosophy and poetry of Swamburger and Aesop Rock. Lastly, I'm inspired by myself, my own thinking patterns and my surroundings."

What advice would you give to someone starting out in your field?

"Make a lot of work to learn your materials. Know your limits only to break your limits. Oh, and art supplies are expensive."
