Pink Pizza Boxes Raise Money for Breast Cancer

Hungry Howie's Pizza is raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation throughout the month of October. Here's how you can help.

Hungry Howie's "Love, Hope & Pizza" campaign is raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which provides mammograms to women in need and offers educational resources.

Throughout October, all large pizzas are being served in pink boxes with the breast cancer awareness ribbon. For every large pizza purchased at Florida and Alabama locations, Hungry Howie's will make a donation to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

An additional $1 will also be donated to National Breast Cancer Foundation when customers purchase "Love, Hope & Pizza" wristbands, become a new fan or share a breast cancer story on the Hungry Howie’s Facebook page, and for every tweet using the hashtag #lovehopepizza. Hungry Howie’s Facebook fans can also make a donation directly to National Breast Cancer Foundation through the Facebook page.

Also, Vinyl from last year’s "Love, Hope & Pizza" billboards was recycled to create tote bags to promote the campaign and raise money for National Breast Cancer Foundation. Totes may be purchased from G2 GreenGear with a donation being made to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Hungry Howie’s goal is to raise $250,000 for National Breast Cancer Foundation, and at 63 percent to goal as of Oct. 18, they are well on their way. Last October, Hungry Howie’s raised more than $225,000.
