3. For those who like a little variety, you can't go wrong with this trio of spots on Main Street. You and your date can hit Kelly's restaurant first for dinner and a drink, head to the Chic-A-Boom Room next door for a few more cocktails and some live music, and then mosey on over to Blur to dance the rest of the night away; it's like having three dates in one place.

4. If casual waterfront dining is more your scene, this Dunedin Marina spot is the perfect place to enjoy a tasty seafood feast while soaking up the terrific atmosphere.

5. . This inviting Main Street restaurant serves up gourmet tapas-style food created by Chef Tony Bruno in an elegant, Old World setting. The family-run establishment is known for its wine selection and, if the mood moves you, it's only one door down from sister restaurant The Dunedin Smokehouse and Flanagan's Irish Pub.
