Chamber Accepting Nominations for Business Awards

Small, medium and large businesses have until Dec. 23 to submit nominations.

The Dunedin Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual business awards.

Chamber president Lynn Wargo announced last week that nomination forms will be accepted until Dec. 23 for Business of the Year (small, medium and large categories) and the Beatrice Donoghue Delightful Dunedin Award for community service.

Businesses will be judged on seven categories: staying power, employees, business performance, innovativeness/quality of product or service offered, response to adversity, evidence of contributions by nominee to aid community-oriented projects and commitment of good business practices.

For nominating purposes, small businesses gross under $1 million annually, medium businesses gross between $1 and $5 million and large businesses gross more than $5.
