Wardia has experience working for Pinellas County, and said that witnessing the effects of the recession hit home.

"It really opened my eyes and my goal is to get a nonprofit up," Wardia explained.

Although it's a plan for the future, Wardia said that the nonprofit's purpose would be to shower kids with love through baked goods.

Whether it's a birthday cake or cupcake for getting good grades, Wardia said that each child deserves positive re-enforcement.
